Delora Hall Tyler
Founder, President & CEO

A marketing dynamo who directly oversees every agency project, Delora founded First Media Group in 1990 after spending 13 years successfully marketing the Detroit News and working as a freelance media consultant. She previously managed advertising for the Bad Records/Simpson wholesale chain and worked at WGPR-FM/TV 62, the country’s first
black-owned radio/TV station. She currently co-hosts a radio program on
WCHB-AM. The recipient of many professional awards, from Michigan’s Best Small Business (1999) to the Oakland County Vision Award (2006) and the Michigan Business Women’s Award (2008), to name a few, Delora holds a BA in communications as well as APR certification with the Public Relations Society of America and is active with several boards and professional organizations, locally and nationally.
